Four easy steps on how we built one of our deck projects!
Deck Build Overview
Building of this 564 square feet wrap around deck.
Step One: We started by removing the old deck. Then we dug the concrete caisson holes per city approved plans.
After caisson holes passed city inspection, we then prepped for concrete pouring by compacting the ground, setting up forms and rebar.
Step Two: When the concrete pad had been poured and cured, we then began the framing of the new composite deck. We started by first framing the square of the deck then we framed the wrap around and stairs.
Once the deck framing was finished and passed city framing rough inspection, we then proceeded to the installation of the composite Trex on the deck.
Step Three: Once we had all the composite installed on the stairs and deck, we then began the installation of the redwood railing.
Step Four: When the railing installation was finished and the deck passed city final inspection, we then cleaned up and power washed the deck.
Finally, we did our final walk through with our client to make sure everything looked good and that they were happy with their new deck!
